It's done with irregularly parked cars. How drivers who break the rules will be SANCTIONED
Patrol inspectors will be watching the drivers who park irregularly, starting today. At the same time, on 22nd of April, drivers who do not comply with the car parking rules will be fined up to 1,500 lei and 4 penalty points.
INP representatives will step up parking controls in forbidden places (in front of the shop, at intersections, on pedestrian crossings, on the stairs of the block) to prevent such irregularities, which are an obstacle for firefighters, ambulances, policemen, with special needs and mothers with children in trolleys.
INP representatives urge drivers:
- park the cars in such a way that they do not create impediments to other road users;
- to advocate for the public transport journey;
- an alternative is to park in the specially arranged places and remember that every driver is also a pedestrian.
According to INP data last year, more than 8,400 drivers were sanctioned because they parked irregularly.
In the first three months of 2019, more than 540 were elected with minutes, about 75% less than the same period of the previous year.
