Iurie Ciocan submitted the mandate of Central Elections Commission at the Parliament's secretarship. Also, he left the office of Center for Reforms Implementation director.

"Yesterday morning, I submitted the resignation request. I didn't make this information public. The reason is a simple one. I disagree with everything what is happening in the elections legislation. I wrote that in the request also", said Ciocan.

We remind that Iurie Ciocan was the president of the Central Elections Commission from 2011 to 2016.

In 2016, Ciocan became CEC member.
