Iurie Leanca, deputy President of the Parliament resigned. Who replaces him?
The deputy President of the Parliament, Iurie Leanca has resigned. 55 deputies approved this project of law.
Instead of him, this function will be leaded by Valeriu Ghiletchi who gained 55 votes.
Iurie leanca has the diplomatic degree of by the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador. Between 2007 and 2009, Leanca was the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.
At the Parliament elections from 2009, Leanca was named from the PLDM lists. Thus, he was named deputy minister and minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, after he held many functions in the Government. Between 2007 and 2009, he was the deputy President of a company whose owner is Anatol Stati.
From 2005 to 2009 he was the deputy President of the Foreign Politics Association. Previously, during four years, he was minister-adviser at the Republic of Moldova Embassy to the US. In 1998, he was an ambassador with special missions for European Integration.
In 1986, Iurie Leanca graduated the State Institute of International Relationship from Moscow. In the same year, he was hired by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from Chisinau.
