Iurie Leanca held a meeting with Lukáš Parízek, the State Secretary within the Minister for Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic.

Within the meeting, the officials discussed about the relationship between the countries and convened how to strengthen the cooperation.

Leanca thanked the Slovak State Secretary for their support offered within "Slovak Republic strategy for cooperation with the Republic of Moldova between 2014-2018". The Slovak prime minister said that the Republic of Moldova will be included in the Assistance program 2019-2023. 

Lukáš Parízek highlighted the intention to strengthen the cooperation in economy and increase the investments in Moldova, especially in the energy sphere. The official pledged for implementing the micro-grants program and to build aqueducts and sewerage.

The officials also targeted the transnistrean conflic and the security issue. The State secretary mentioned that the Slovak Presidency will support Molodva within the 5+2 negotiations.

Iurie Leanca also held a meeting with a group of businessmen interested to invest in Moldova.
