Iurie Leanca held meeting with Peter Pellegrini, Slovak Prime Minister
The deputy prime minister for European Integration pays a visit to Bratislava, where he has met Peter Pellegrini, the Slovak Prime minister.
Within the meeting, the officials discussed about the relationship between the countries and convened how to strengthen the cooperation.
Leanca thanked the Slovak prime minister for their support offered within "Slovak Republic strategy for cooperation with the Republic of Moldova between 2014-2018". The Slovak prime minister said that the Republic of Moldova will be included in the Assistance program 2019-2023.
Pellegrini Prime Minister highlighted the intention to strengthen the cooperation in economy and increase the investments in Moldova, especially in the energy sphere. The official pledged for implementing the micro-grants program and to build aqueducts and sewerage.
Referring to Europe, Peter Pellegrini said what is the main priority of the Slovak Republic, the one to strengthen the role of their country within the EU. In this context, the Slovak prime minister said they will support the Republic of Moldova on its European Path.
At the end, Iurie Leanca invited the Slovak prime minister to pay a visit to Moldova.
