Iurie Leanca responds to Andrei Nastase's attacks: Frustrations and thirst for power have darkened his thoughts
Accusations and miserable language have exceeded any limit of common sense. That's how PPEM President Iurie Leanca reacted to the attacks of PPDA leader Andrei Nastase, who called him "garbage" as part of a television show.
In a Facebook post, Leanca wrote that he expects such attacks to be on the agenda in the context of the coming elections. The conflict between the two politicians began after Andrei Nastase accused the PPEM leader of studying his son at a university in the UK with Ilan Shor.
Iurie Leanca told a press conference that these allegations were false and also asked Năstase to tell him where he had the money to pay for his children's studies who learn at a school located in the most expensive area from Germany.
In a TV show, the PPDA leader had a bad reaction.
"This garbage to ask me what I do with my children who stay abroad? It was funded by Shor and his kids", said Andrei Nastase, PPDA leader.
Iurie Leanca was indignant with Nastase's insults and wrote on a social networking page that frustrations and thirst for the power of the PPDA led him to darken his thoughts. At the same time, the PPEM president explained that he paid the children's studies of the money he collected during the time he worked in the OSCE, at The Hague, but also at a petroleum company.
Iurie Leanca suggested to Andrei Năstase that, as a simple prosecutor from the accuser of Zopa, he turned to his wedding bailiff and fine and explained the transfers of hundreds of thousands of euros to the accounts of his relatives without paying taxes.
