The Bulgarian President, Rumen Radev congratulated Republic of Moldova for the reforms and successes registered in the past two years and said that Bulgaria will support the Republic of Moldova on the European path. This message was transmitted by the deputy prime minister, Iurie Leanca, to the socialists, within a press conference, where he presented the results of the visit he paid to Bulgaria, between April 4 and 5.

At the same time, Iurie Leanca declared that the main subjects discussed in Sofia were the bilateral relationship, Bulgarian community from Republic of Moldova and the role of Bulgaria in the development of the Republic of Moldova.

The deputy prime minister for European Integration talked with the Bulgarian president about NATO and the geopolitical situation from the region.

"After I asked him how could a country from our region to provide the security, he replied that if the country has enough finances and military capacity to provide the security, then the neutrality is a good decision. In the other case, you should find allies", declared Iurie Leanca.

Within his visit to Sofia, Iurie Leanca and the Bulgarian officials discussed about how important the Bulgarian support is for the Republic of Moldova.
