Iurie Leanca: We count on Czech Republic's support in our way of European Integration

The official visit to Prague, Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Iurie Leanca, which takes place between September 18-19 is ongoing. On the second day the Moldovan official met with the President of the Czech Parliament Chamber of Deputies, Radek Vondráček, the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Chamber of Deputies, former Czech Republic Foreign Minister, Lubomír Zaorálek, as well as with the chairmen of the Committee Foreign Affairs, Defense and Security of the Senate, Frantisek Bublan and Senate Committee on European Affairs, respectively, Václav Hampl.
The discussions focused on the Moldovan-Czech interparliamentary cooperation, the internal political evolutions in the Republic of Moldova, the progress and the difficulties in implementing the reform agenda of our country.
At the same time, the Czech Republic, the Visegrad Group countries, as well as the European institutions for the Republic of Moldova, in particular concerning the reform of the judiciary, were approached by ways and areas of development assistance.
Deputy Prime Minister Iurie Leanca informed in context the security developments at regional level, including in the context of the Transnistrian settlement process, as well as the dynamics of Moldova's relations with the states in the region and with the European Union.
The Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, Radek Vondráček, provided the Moldovan side with ongoing political support and development assistance from the Czech Republic, both governmental and parliamentary.
