The Romanian presidency is an unique occasion to improve the relationship between Moldova and the EU, from the development of the political dialogue, to reforms.

This declaration belongs to Iurie Leanca, the vice prime-minister for Integration who made it within Romania's take over of the EU presidency.

According to the Moldovan official, besides the challanges that EU faces, Romania has the responsibility and the opportunity to maintain the evolution of the EU in the Eastern neighborhood.

"We count on Romania's support to start the debates with the EU about offering us a perspective to adhere to the EU", said Iurie Leanca.
