Kindergarten no. 166 from Buiucani sector of Chisinau, which has been in the pile for 13 years, will be reopened. The pre-school institution is rebuilt from the ground up by a partnership between the City Hall and an economic agent.

The kindergarten will have 13 groups equipped with sanitary blocks and one food. Some of the works will be ready in May, so that the furniture and equipment bought by the City Hall can be stored in the rooms. 

"We are launching the auction in three weeks for the whole machine and the windows will already be installed and a block will be made so that we have where to store all the furniture so that it is not the kindergarten made, but the furniture is bought", said Ruslan Codreanu, the interim mayor of Chisinau. 

Buiucani Education Department officials say the project will address the problem of lack of space in kindergartens in the sector. 

"All these institutions are busy, the children exceed the number of 30 children in some groups and that is why we will gradually make the preschool education management specialist to be downloaded which is the archway and make district for the given institution", said Veronica Solomitschi, Head of Education, Youth and Sport, from Buiucani sector.

Kindergarten no. 166 will be opened in the autumn. The municipality has allocated seven million lei for furniture and equipment, and the contractor contracted by the town hall will assume the remaining construction costs, which reach 20 million lei.
