There are dozens of parents who took advantage of the promotions offered at the closing of the school fair in the Capital to buy the children's school supplies, clothes and footwear.

Many parents say they did not have time all summer to make these purchases:

"We were busy repairing. We did not buy anything, it's the only place where I know it's a trade for September and I'm here right away."

"We did not have the opportunity to buy anything. We were more at work and now the last day we went to the market to buy."

"We have bought something, but we have the last preparations and we buy what we have not buy."

For others, in August, priority was to rest:

"We were on vacation and came back now. We thought anyhow what ours would be for us."

Sellers say they have tried to attract customers with up to 50% discounts: "They are very interested in discounts. Most of the quality matters, the more the price matters."

At the fair, a costume for boys could be bought with 1,000 lei. Blouses and skirts cost between 300 and 400 lei. And for a schoolgirl parents paid around 450 lei.
