A lawyer from Chisinau is about to be sued. According to the prosecutors, he asked 14.500 Euro from a man, in order to influence the decision of some magistrates.

Actually, in 2018, the lawyer took 8.000 Euro from a citizen in order to influence the magistrates of the Chisinau Court of Appeal to take a favorable decision for a defendant. Then, the lawyer asked 5.000 Euro invoking that 8.000 Euro are not enough.

Even if the lawyer received 13.000 Euro, the Penal College of Chisinau Court of Appeal rejected the lawyer's requests. Thus, the lawyer asked for 1.500 Euro more. This time, he said he will influence Ciocana magistrates.

We remind that on February 13, the lawyer was detained immediately after he took the money. He was blamed of influence peddling. He recognized his guilt.
