LEGISLATION ACTIVITY over last four years: DPM has the most legislative projects and initiatives
Deputies in the Democratic Party have been the hardiest in legislative initiatives. They have submitted over 300 projects to Parliament. This shows the data on the activity of the Legislature over the last four years.
According to the report , in 2014-2018, 1924 legislative initiatives were registered in Parliament. Half of them, namely 1172, were submitted by deputies. Most of the projects belong to the DPM, about 334. They are followed by groups of deputies from different parliamentary factions, who had 250 projects, PSRM deputies with 237 and Communists with 103 initiatives.
The PLDM faction registered 92 projects, the Liberals had 71, the European People's Group - 20 projects, and the non-attached Members - 53.
During this period, the Government submitted 620 drafts for examination and approval, and the country's president - 132 . Only in the years 2015-2018 in Parliament were approved 900 laws and 327 decisions. During this period, the head of state did not promulgate 43 laws, 39 of them being
re-examined by the Legislature.
Parliament in the 22nd legislature adopted 1,227 laws.
