One hundred lei can save you from paying 30 thousand Euro. We talk about the medical insurances that the Moldovans think are useless can reduce great costs.

The tourism operators say that on an average, four out of one hundred Moldovans use the medical insurances. The lawyers say that we should be very careful when making this insurance.

The cost of a medical insurance for the former CSI countries costs 225 lei and it covers costs worth 60 Euro, while for the other countries, the costs start from 443 lei.

"On the medical insurance, the phone number, and some additional information is included. Thus, the operators should know where to send the ambulance", said Artiom Neaga, administrator of a tourism agency.

Moreover, the insurances are cheaper and cover only some simple treatments.

The tourism operators say that many tourists refuse the allowances and assume the consequences.

"It happens very often that they give up on the allowances and then they require treatment there", said Ion Curmei, tourist agent.

According to the lawyers, in case the person doesn't need the medical insurance, then they can receive their money back.
