45 parties have the right to participate in the consultative referendum, initiated by President Igor Dodon. The Central Electoral Commission has today approved the list of formations and actions taken for the plebiscite organization.
Within ten days, party representatives may address the CEC for registration, after that, they may start the campaign against or support the referendum.
Almost 75 million lei are required for the plebiscite, which has not yet been allocated. The state head asks people to expose their opinions to four subjects.
He refers to the law that provides for the public debt transfer to three banks; the deputy reduction in Parliament from 101 to 71; and the introduction of Moldovan history in schools instead of Romanian one.
Likewise, Igor Dodon wants mandate to dissolve Parliament.
