Long queue at the border with Romania. According to the border police, the waiting time at the Leuşeni and Sculeni crossing points exceeded an hour.
The reason is that on Saturday, many Romanian citizens came to the Republic of Moldova to participate in the Union March, and the next day they went back home.
To streamline traffic, the border police increased the number of employees and added the number of portable document readers. Traffic on free arteries, including the one for the Diplomatic officials, has also been redirected.
To avoid queues, authorities are suggesting drivers to track online the situation at border crossings.
