Families from Chisinau that have an income of less than 3 000 lei per month, can benefit this year from compensations to pay for heating.

Requests can be written at  local social services agency and receive assistance amounting to 40% of the heating bill.

According to the City Hall, until 6th November almost 12 thousand requests have already been made.

In the heating season from 2016- 2017, almost 39 thousand families have received help in paying the heating bill, for which the Municipal Budget offered 94 million lei.

Families with small income can request compensations amounting to the difference of increase price cap for waste collection and transportation, as well as tap water.
