Lyceum from Ialoveni terrorized by 3 siblings who threaten other pupils with knives and lighters
Pupils attending a lyceum from Ialoveni are daily afraid to go to school, as they are threatened by three of their classmates, all siblings, with knifes.
A woman recalls that her 9-year-old daughter was threatened with a knife by another 11-year-old pupil in the school's yard. The incident took place 2 months ago. The mother has then decided to write a complaint at the police, but the incident repeated two days ago.
"She claim that they put a knife at her throat and warned that they will cut her. I fear for my child and she is traumatized, shiver, she attends counseling now" citizen from Ialoveni, Elena Drăgan said.
A similar case happened to another 2nd grader. She was threatened by two boys: one of 12 and another one of 14 years old.
"Every day those boys scare them with knives, lighters, declaring that they burn their hair, same problems repeats in the bathroom. I ask how is school and she always claim that she no longer wishes to attend it" citizen from Ialoveni, Igor Andronache said.
Other parents also fear for their children.
"If they go to the school with knives what can we expect? They drink and smoke."
"It is a disaster. The child always causes a scene and curses everyone."
The three brothers have made a reputation for themselves in the city.
"They roam by themselves, do as they please and curse our children. Have no respect for adults. Always pick fights with our kids."
"This issue might have a tragic ending."
Director of the community house, Ecaterina Grigoriță, was not found for comments. She refused to speak over the phone, but an employee from the institution offered their opinion.
"Perhaps they are aggressive, but we do our best to educate them" teacher Iurie Cușnir said.
Local authorities claim that the three vandalized local parks and burned some trash bins.
"I have suggested as Mayor that I make a personal graphic and go work there, as a volunteer, because there is no other solution" Mayor of Ialoveni, Sergiu Armașu said.
Police is investigating the case.
"Police are investigating and all complains are registered at the inspectorate" chief of Ialoveni Police Inspectorate, Pavel Damaschin said.
At the community house from Ialoveni live 12 children, born in vulnerable families.
