Moldovan plăcintă, wines, carpets and handicrafts are exhibited Wednesday at a fair in front of Republic Palace in Chisinau. 

More than 30 producers across Moldova are boasting their best products and persuading buyers with competitive prices. 

Wines and brandy were also popular.

"We have various types of wine, red wine, white wine, black wines, homemade cake", said producer Gheorghe Guzan.

The Head of the European Union Delegation in Moldova also tasted traditional food and paid great compliment. 

"There is lots of tasty food. It's important that everything is made of fresh products. This is an advantage of Moldova which you should use to offer foreign export partners as well as to develop tourism sector", said EU Ambassador to Moldova, Peter Michalko.

At present, about 30 groups from different regions of the country participate in the fair on Wednesday. European financial supports have yielded good results.
