Maia Sandu admits to have part in disagreement between Russia and Moldova
Maia Sandu, leader of the “Actiune si Solidaritate” party, admits that she, as a member of multiple governments, was an accomplice to the bridge created between Russia and Moldova.
At the conference “Restoring Regional Leadership”, organized by Vilnius, Sandu claimed that the governments of Moldova have caused the same amount of damage to the Republic of Moldova as Russia did, writes politics.md.
“It is easier for Russia to follow its geopolitical objective in a weak and divided state. To my dismay, throughout Republic of Moldova's history of independence, the governments of this country always chose to join Russia in its geopolitical play with the west and has the same part in our country’s fragility as Russia. In place of carving their own path and use all their power for this objective, the majority of governments which ruled Moldova exploited the regional geopolitical competition, aiming for their own narrow political view, making use of our citizen’s nostalgia and fears”, Maia Sandu declared.
We must remind everyone that Maia Sandu was a minister in the governments of Filat, Leance and Gaburici.
The conference “Restoring Regional Leadership” was organized in the context of Europe’s Day for commemorating victims of Nazism and Stalinism.
