A 29-year-old man from the Capital was arrested by officers from Buiucani Police Inspectorate, on suspicion of pickpocketing in Chisinau.

In one of the cases, the suspect was caught on CCTV in an establishment on Ştefan cel Mare boulevard, right in the moment when the suspect took from a jacket documents, debit cards and money. It caused the victim an over 3 000 lei damage.

The second case took place with the same scheme, in an establishment on Liviu Deleanu street, where the suspect stole a wallet with 3 400 lei.

If found guilty, he risks to be fined or to spend the next 2 years in prison.
