A 29-year-old man from Chisinau was stopped by police officers while transporting alcohol without certificates of origin.

The car's salon contained 100 bottles of Cognac.

When questioned, the driver confessed that he lacks certificates of origin for the alcohol and that it was brought from Transnistria.

The man was taken to the police inspectorate. If found guilty for transporting goods without documents, the man risks a fine from 3 000 to 4 500 lei.
