A  resident of Calarasi district was convicted to 20 years in prison for a planned murder.

The crime took place in 2016, in Oniscani village. The guilty went to an old woman to borrow some money. After they argued, the man hit to death the 78 year old woman.

Due to the sentence applied on August 14, 2017 by Calarasi Court, the man was released.

The prosecutors contested the sentence ans insisted on the thing that the man is guilty. Thus, the Chisinau Court of Appeal sentenced him to 20 years in prison.
