Man from Capital arrested for robbery
Police identified and arrested a 30-year-old man on suspicion of stealing for a car and from a garage on Dacia Boulevard, after being notified by two citizens of robberies.
The man was handcuffed and taken to the Inspectorate for questionings, where he confessed for both cases.
According to preliminary investigation, the man has entered a VAZ car and stole the audio system, a cell phone and electric tools, worth in total around 4 thousand lei.
All items were later found at the man's home, being seized and taken as proof. He also broke into a garage by destroying the lock, where he stole electric tools and two bicycles, causing almost 6 000 lei damage.
The suspect also managed to sell the bikes to unknown individuals, while the tools were found and taken a hold of.
He is currently investigated for robbery and risk a 13 to 27 thousand lei fine, 180 to 240 hours of unpaid community service, or up to 4 years of imprisonment.
Capital's Police Department continues to investigate and establish his possible implication in other similar cases, as well as whom could have brought the goods from him.
