Man from Capital caught robbing a woman on surveillance cameras

A 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of stealing a wallet from a woman's bag, while she was leaving a shop from Ciocana sector.
The 44-year-old victim has called the police, declaring that her wallet with 2 240 lei was missing. The theft was caught on the shop's surveillance cameras.
The suspect proved to be a man from the Capital, previously investigated for similar acts. During questioning he confessed, while the stole money were already used for personal needs.
The thief risks a 13 000 to 17 000 lei fine, 180 to 240 hours of unpaid community service, or up to 2 years of imprisonment.
