A young beekeepers family  from Hristici village, Soroca district came from abroad to start an affair home.

"You should know that the honey is gold. It has a lot of benefits."

Efim Cazac says that his grandparents inspired him such an idea. After he has been working in Russia for a couple of years, he came in Moldova and bought the first 150 hives.

"I have always had the idea that it is hard to start, but then it becomes easier", said Efim Cazac, beekeeper.

The beekeepers encourage others young to start new affairs in Moldova.

"We have some friends whom we encouraged to start different projects", said Efim Cazac, beekeeper.

The man employed some people to help him, but his wife also helps him. 

"I help my husband to take the honey. It is a great pleasure for me. I also help him selling the honey", said Irina Cazac, the wife.

The family gathers 10 tones of honey yearly. As this business brings profit, they want to buy more hives, around 1000. The local authorities say that the young contribute to the development of the country. 

"It is a good example for the other young from our country. He opened new jobs", said Alexei Ivan, the mayor of Hristici village.

In Moldova there are over seven thousand beekeepers.
