A car was stopped at the border, as its registration plate had signs of being forged. The 53-year-old driver is now being investigated.
During visual examination, it was noticed that the registration plate lacked the stamp of the issuing body and some technical data on the bodywork did not correspond to that in the technical passport.
The suspect declared that he had no knowledge of this, claiming that hes purchased the car from an unknown individual to be able to move more freely on his agricultural land.
The vehicle was confiscated. If found guilty, the man risks to 2 years of imprisonment.
