Marian Lupu: We need stability to grow economy for safer country's future
Economic development is essential to ensure a safer future in our country for all citizens. This opinion was expressed by President PDM Marian Lupu, who participated in a discussion with the villagers from Borogani village, Leova district.
During the meeting, whose purpose was to listen to local leaders about issues they are facing, Marian Lupu showed that development of social services and infrastructure modernization are priority objectives which should carry out the authorities of our country.
Marian Lupu has told people that with their support, will work to stabilize the country and harmony in society. "We need stability to grow the economy, and thus to realize those beautiful things that people expect: better paid jobs, pensions, better equipped schools, roads etc. It's time to say stop bickering and scandals, it's time for politics to be put to work to serve to the public, serving a European future for a prosperous Moldova ", said Democratic candidate for president.
Representatives of the district and locals have welcomed the decision of Marian Lupu to discuss their problems directly on the spot. "We expect that these appointments will take effect and be heard by the government" , said one participant in the discussions. "Marian Lupu has a strong team, with which things can be can put in place", said another local.
Besides raising pensions and salaries, Borogani residents talked about the infrastructure problems, namely the need to repair local roads. People from Borogani village said that their location is very important to completed the road linking Iargara and Comrat.
Another important issue for locals is street lighting. "We want to see that we are supported by the government, the head of the table that someone put people's problems" , said Borogani residents.
PDM candidate for President of the Republic of Moldova has assured the people of Borogani that will take account of their problems. "I will come not only with the collection of problems and solutions" , said Marian Lupu, who said he would come to talk to people after the elections, because a president is allowed to stand isolated in his office and that President's office should be across the country.
