Mărţişorul celebrated in Netherlands and Belgium
The symbol of spring, Mărţişorul, continues to be celebrated not only in the country, but also abroad. Citizens of Moldova living in Netherlands and Belgium could enjoy concerts offered by Moldovan entertainers.
Alex Calancea Band brought the holiday to Moldovans living in Haga.
"I miss Moldova very much. May you all be blessed with health and happiness."
"I hope we see each other soon. I plan to go back home, I miss it very much."
The owner of the movie theater where the concert took place also congratulated all Moldovans.
"Moldova is a country I got to know, to love and encourage. The white for purity and red for love is something that represents us as well."
Similar concerts also took place in Brussels. Moldovans living in that city were also very happy.
"I miss my family at home."
The program "Mărțișor de acasă" ("Mărțișor from home") was launched by the Government of Moldova through the Bureau for Diaspora Relations. The events were organized in collaboration of Moldova's Embassy in the Kingdom of the Netherlands and HelloNetherlands group.
