Masterpiece of one million faces dedicated to Chisinau to break world record
Growing up in Chisinau until 19 years old, Iuri Seretskii then moved to the U.S and now are living in Sacramento, California. However, long years abroad does not hinder him and his friends from creating such wonderful present for 581-year-old capital city.
Photo mosaic that gathered 200,000 portraits and beat the world record was dedicated to Queen Elisabeth II, writes prime.md.
Iuri Seretskii decided to beat this record with another mosaic photo showing the Triumph Arch in Chisinau, and since we zoom in, we can see the faces of the capital's inhabitants.
At present, the mosaic photo they create is made up of about 400,000 photos, a record already beaten. However, the initiators want to collect one million pictures, which will represent a small part of the Chisinau inhabitants.
All photos have been gathered for half a year although this process is not so simple.
Not all photos are accepted. If you want to find yourself in this collage, you have all the chances of course. All you have to do is send the organizers your photo on their facebook page and the world record can be shared!
