MBA Gala. Vlad Plahotniuc: Government will continue to stimulate business environment in 2019
The Government will continue to stimulate the business environment in 2019. The tax for the social insurance budget will be reduced to 12 or 14 percent. This, after this year's contribution, fell from 23 to 18 percent.
Also, the 12 percent profit tax will be canceled for companies that will reinvest earnings in business development. The announcements were made by the President of the Moldovan Businessmen's Association, Vlad Plahotniuc, within the MBA Gala.
The event was attended by 1,200 people who celebrated the success of entrepreneurs.
"We intend to reduce once again, to reduce the percentage of social security payments for companies, and perhaps the Minister of Finance is hardly going to keep it. I want to tell you that it is the best Government, talented, dedicated to those who can really do reforms, change things in the country", said Vlad Plahotniuc, president of MBA.
"We heard what are the duties for the next year. I am pleased that alongside the Minister of Finance, the Minister of Health is just the Minister of Health, they supported one another", said Prime Minister Pavel Filip.
Decreasing the social security contribution will allow entrepreneurs to save, motivate them to develop their businesses and create jobs. From 2016 to the present, 170,000 posts have been set up.
"Today, the IT field is a lot of chocolate, if you can say it, and with the promises of Mr. Plahotniuc in a few minutes, I have come up with some ideas for reinvestment of capital." When the government feels support from the state, when the state gets its hand and does not allow you to fall, that I think is the most appreciated", said Andrei Jicol, director of an IT company.
The Minister of Economy said that the provision of business facilities would not have been possible without political will and implemented reforms.
"Tax reform, reduced taxes and taxes, of course, bring benefits to the business environment, especially when they come in parallel with a decrease or a reduction in bureaucracy, the One Stop Shop", said Economy Minister Chiril Gaburici.
In turn, entrepreneurs confirm that the business environment is finally relieved.
"Many years ago, Mr. Plahotniuc came up with some initiatives that, frankly, I say, many have been skeptical of them. I think today skeptics no longer exist", said Oleg Baban, company director.
"It is certainly not easy to do business in the Republic of Moldova, but at the same time without your entrepreneurs and without your courage, there would be no Moldovan economy and there would be no system in which we live today. The businessmen themselves are the engine of this society and economy", said Andrian Candu, the Speaker of Parliament.
According to Vlad Plahotniuc, President of the Association of Businessmen, this government is the only one since Independence, which has largely fulfilled all the promises made to the business environment.
"At the same time, this government is the only one who has spoken to people, giving them hope for a future in Moldova, raising wages and pensions, creating new jobs, and giving people the opportunity to take a home here, home to Moldova", said Vlad Plahotniuc, president of MBA.
And the young generation is supported and encouraged by the state, as well as by the MBA, to fulfill its dream of having its own business.
At this year's Gala, ten more ambitious youngsters received diplomas and 50,000 lei to develop their business. Thus, the number of the financially supported by the association reached 40. The total amount of the grants amounts to 2 million lei.
"Thanks to this grant, we will be able to hire 10 more girls this year, and we will be able to buy 10 more sewing machines, 10 more families will stay here in our beloved country", said Ecaterina Papanaga, a businesswoman.
"Together with you, we have managed to make these reforms as people in the Republic of Moldova enjoy today. Come, dear friends, together with you, to ensure this continuity in 2019", said Premier Pavel Filip.
"Coming in 2019, I like many of you want us to make more money this year, but for that we need continuity. On February 24, I'm convinced, and many of you think we have to vote for the Democratic Party everything that started this year will be promoted next year, and we will be and will benefit from this", said Mihail Usatii, president of the Association of Carriers in Moldova.
"My belief is that 2019 can and should be better than the current year, because it's better for you, business, better for the country, better for the country, better for people, and that's the goal which unites us", said Vlad Plahotniuc, president of MBA.
