Several members of the National Unity Party went to the Supreme Court of Justice. The young people organized a peaceful flashmob and chanted slogans in support of the former president of Romania, to whom the citizenship of the Republic of Moldova was withdrawn.
"Rightness for Basescu. Dodon, do not be bad, your turn will come".
The Supreme Court of Justice is going to examine today, whether Traian Basescu will regain or not his citizenship. The ex-president of Romania received the citizenship of the Republic of Moldova in October 2016, by a decree issued by Nicolae Timofti. In January 2017, Igor Dodon signed another decree, with which he withdrew it. Then Dodon said that the granting of citizenship was made in violation, because there were negative opinions from several institutions.
