Horrible incident in Telecentru, Chisinau. An 18-year-old girl, diagnosed with schizophrenia, has attacked last night her own parents in their apartment, while the mother tried to give her the usual medicine. Both adults were taken to the hospital with various injuries, while the girl admitted to an Asylum.

According to the police, the lady hit her other in the head and then attacked her own father with a knife, during an episode.

"The 18-year-old girl refused to take her medication and hit her mother in the face with a cup. While the father tried to protect his wife, he was stabbed with a knife in the neck region and a leg" Deputy Chief of Police Inspectorate, Iurie Vacarciuc declared.

Both adults are in a stable condition.

"Despite refusing to be admitted into the hospital, the woman, with head injuries, received surgical intervention and is now stable" the on call doctor, Vasile Şovgur stated.

"The man, who was admitted with various corporal injuries, was treated and luckily had no vitals hit, but he will still be kept for supervision" the Emergency Hospital's traumatologist, Nicolae Bajurea said.

The accident was a shocked for the neighbors.

"I would never expect for something like this to happen. She was such a nice girl, friendly and calm, always greeting me  as a neighbor."

"It's my first time hearing about it."

The girl is to receive treatment at the Asylum, while her parents refuse to attest to any claims against her.
