Migration and Asylum Bureau specifications for Turkish citizens expelled from Republic of Moldova

Seven foreign citizens, suspected of ties with an Islamist group and who were declared undesirable and expelled from the territory of the Republic of Moldova, filed political requests today in April.
According to the press officer of the Ministry of Interior, Alina Zbanca, their requests were rejected and the respective citizens were notified by post about this.
"At the request of the Intelligence and Security Service, the Migration and Asylum Bureau rejected the political asylum requests filed in April 2009. The respective citizens were informed of this decision in writing by post", said Alina Zbanca, Minister of Affairs press officer.
