Mihai Ghimpu: Andrei Nastase didn't want to be a mayor, because a mayor should work a lot and he doesn't want that
Andrei Nastase has never targeted for the mayor office, because there is a lot of work to do in this office. This declaration was made by Mihai Ghimpu, the president of the Liberal party for Truth Moldova newspaper. The PL leader gave up on the rally, because he thinks more about the parliamentary elections.
"Within the parliament you should be a good politician, while at the City Hall you should be a hard working man", said Mihai Ghimpu.
Ghimpu compared the protests realized now with the ones from 2015. "I remember the rally from June 7, it was a week before the second round of the Chisinau elections. Greceannii and Chirtoaca were fighting for the first place. They were more for Greceanii."
The liberal leader also said that Maia Sandu manipulated the public opinion in 2015, when she was a candidate for the prime minister office, even if she didn't want that.
"In 2015, she was saying that she will accept the prime minister office if I and Marian Lupu will go to the EU Ambassador and promise reforms", said the PL president.
Ghimpu refereed to Andrei Nastase's election campaign of this year. The liberal president said that Nastase breached the law many times.
Mihai Ghimpu also criticized the participants of the protests who went to the Democratic Party office and home to Vlad Plahotniuc. "The participants of the rally should not go to the family of the politicians, because they are not guilty."
GHimpu said that the number of the participants to the rally was small.
