Leader of the Liberal Party, Mihai Ghimpu, welcomes the Government's initiative to declare Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitri Rogozin persona non-grata on the territory of Moldova.

The statement was made at a press conference. The head of the Liberals said the Russian politician's statements about our country are unacceptable, and it is high time this decision had to be taken.

 "Yes, it had to be done a long time ago. Allowing a man who constantly insults you, who comes to shoot your brothers – it's a shame to open the doors and to roll out a red carpet in front of him" said Mihai Ghimpu, the president of the Liberal Party.
