Moldovan farmers need to invest in modern technologies and focus on product quality. Just so they can more easily sell their merchandise abroad. This is the opinion of the last Fabrika show - the Minister of Agriculture, Nicolae Ciubuc, and the representative of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, Raimund Jehle. The two spoke about the priorities in the field, including launching new national programs.
"Let's come with support in support of agricultural producers as a measure of solidarity with the problems that are being faced today, when we talk about the dismantling of the production," said the Minister of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment, Nicolae Ciubuc.
"There is a need for private sector investment to transform agriculture into a major business. If we want to achieve the sustainable development goals to be achieved by 2030, we need to make sure that civil society is involved," he said. Raimund Jehle, FAO representative in Moldova.
Nicolae Ciubuc also said that farmers need not invest directly in production but also in post-harvest infrastructure.
"Given that we have more refrigerators, more processing possibilities, or the transformation of raw material from raw material into final processed production, these effects are certainly much smaller. It is very relevant to focus on association, "said Nicolae Ciubuc, Minister of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment.
"I have personally benefited from dried plums and is an excellent product. If we talk about markets, with the right technologies, you will succeed," said Raimund Jehle, FAO representative in Moldova.
