On 8th September 2017, during the Informal meeting of foreign affairs ministers - Gymnich, the representative from Moldova, Minister of External Affairs and European integration, has met Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn.

During this meeting the two officials have discussed the importance of maintaining the relations between Moldova and EU, as well as future possible cooperation in various fields and the importance of the cooperation with the East.
