Minister Tudor Ulianovschi presented opportunities of investments of Republic of Moldova at Luxembourg

The ways to boost the Moldovan-Luxembourg commercial-economic relations through the organization of events that promote the investment opportunities in our country were discussed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Tudor Ulianovschi, with the General Director of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Carlo Thelen.
In the framework of the dialogue, Minister Tudor Ulianovschi presented the main reforms adopted by the Moldovan Government in order to attract investors on the market of our country, especially in the fields of infrastructure, energy security and information technologies, highlighting the opportunities offered by the free economic zones, industrial parks and IT.
Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Tudor Ulianovschi, participates in the meeting of Foreign Ministers in the format of the Eastern Partnership (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Republic of Moldova, Ukraine) - European Union (28 member states, European External Action Service, European Commission), which will be held today in Luxembourg.

"We want a more active presence of Luxembourg investors in the national economy, and we plan to organize the Moldovan-Luxembourg economic forum to familiarize Luxembourg business people with the investment opportunities in our country," Minister Tudor Ulianovschi said.The Director of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Carlo Thelen, appreciated the measures taken by the Government of the Republic of Moldova, also assessed by the "Doing Business 2018" report, where Moldova ranked 44th out of 190 countries, the chapter on starting a business, the protection of minority investors and the registration of property.General Director Carlo Thelen welcomed the initiative of organizing a Moldovan-Luxembourg Business Forum and exchanging experience with trade promotion institutions and attracting investment from the Republic of Moldova.
