Dance and good mood on Saint Gheorghe in Leuseni. Seven folk bands participated at the Miorita Festival. The residents of the village and the ones of the neighborhood came at the fest.

Within the festival, the women prepared traditional food, while the men danced.

"Many years ago, during this holiday, people were making red and green eggs."

The food attracted people.

"We are making sweet rice and we call it plache."

People decided to celebrate outside as the weather was fine.

"It is very beautiful. We are enjoying the time in the middle of the nature."

"Fresh air, good people."

The representatives of the Government and the Parliament also participated.

"This is how we prove that we are a hardworking nation and we know our traditions", said Anatolie Zagorodnii, PDM deputy.

"As for me, it is great to come in Leseni as I was born in Hancesti district. We should develop our culture and traditions", said Andrei Chistol.

"We wish everybody to be healthy and in a good mood", said Ion Dragan, the interim of Leuseni.

At the festival also came a national singer, Lenuta Gheorghita.
