Moldova- Georgia relations are constantly advancing
Moldova- Georgia relations were discussed today by Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and Moldova, Tudor Ulianovschi and Mikheil Janelidze. The officials have met at New York, where they participate at the UN General Assembly High-Level meeting on sustainable peace.
Tudor Ulianovschi and Mikheil Janelidze spoke of bilateral policies, expressing the wish to both countries to intensifying high level visits exchange, as well as of experts from various institutions from both counties within projects and programs in various fields.
Here, the two officials concluded that lately the political dialogue between the two countries is advancing, an example being the meetings at the parliament and government level.
The Ministers believe the GUAM Summits, attended by Prime Ministers, which will take place on June 20-21, 2018, at Chisinau, represents a good chance to strengthen bilateral relations, launch new collaboration projects between the two countries, at certain organizations.
Ministers of Foreign Affairs have ascertained the existence of an efficient bilateral cooperation for European integration, based on experience exchange, especially within the Eastern Partnership, as well as implementation of terms states in the EU Association Agreement, DCFTA etc.
Minister Ulianovschi mentioned that within the reforms, initiated by Filip's Government, authorities from Chisinau are interested in gaining Georgia's experience in implementing internal affairs, justice and defense reforms, as well as strengthen cooperation in those fields.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia mentioned that his country is interested in extending and deepening the existing bilateral relations with Republic of Moldova in all areas, including trade, social and cultural etc.
"We are interested in strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries in terms of investments, by implementing mutual investment projects and creating an action society, diversify trade and so on" Mikheil Janelidze declared.
Ministers Tudor Ulianovschi and Mikheil Janelidze also spoke of the latest regional and international developments and agreed to offer mutual support within international organizations.
