Moldova exported goods worth 678.2 million USD in the first trimester of 2018

Export increased in the first trimester of 2018, by nearly 30%, compared to a similar period last year. According to the statistics, goods worth 678.2 million USD were exported from Moldova.
Most items, worth 454.7 million USD, ended up on the markets from EU member states, amounting to 67.0% of the total export.
To CIS states were exported 16.8%, worth 113.7 million USD. Export toward those countries increased by 7.2%, compared to January-March 2017.
Statistics also shows that export rose to Romania (+29.4%), Italy (+170%), Germany (+170%), Switzerland (+260%), Ukraine (+160%), Turkey (+22.8%), Poland (+31.5%), Greece (+200%), United Arab Emirates (+590%), Spain (+180%), Netherlands (+170%), Austria (+47.4%), Czech Republic (+42.9%), France (+25.7%), Georgia (+46.5%), Slovakia (+210%), USA (+47.0%), Kazakhstan (+180%), Serbia (+190%), China (+160%), Indonesia (+290%), Saudi Arabia (+210%), Belgium (+26.2%), Hungary (+160%) and Estonia (+190%).
At the same time export decreased to United Kingdom (+18.3%), Bulgaria (-17.2%), Syria (-97.3%), Russia (-1.0%) and Uzbekistan (-46.6%).
