CFM launched the tender for selecting the company to carry out rail infrastructure rehabilitation works. It will be responsible for the design and rehabilitation of the Bender-Basarabeasca-Etulia-Giurgiulesti railway line, about 233 kilometers away, and will carry out renovation works at Giurgiulesti station, Moldpres reports.

The tender will take place in two stages. The first stage involves the submission of technical offers. At the second stage, the selected participants will present the financial offers. According to the CFM, the implementation of the project will make it possible to increase the speed of the trains to 100 km / h and, respectively, increase the freight transport flow.

The Infrastructure Renovation Plan is part of the Restructuring and Reorganization Project of the Moldovan Rail Sector financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the European Investment Bank and the European Neighborhood Investment Fund.

The auction is conducted on the official EBRD electronic customer acquisition platform (ECEPP), and companies interested in submitting bids will register on the ECEPP platform: ecepp.ebrd.com.

No other way to submit bids will be accepted.
