Moldova becomes more attractive for overseas students. As many as 4,300 students from abroad study here. According to the Education Ministry, the number is bigger year on year.

Almost half of the foreign students are from Israel. Down in top are the students from Romania, Turkey, Ukraine and India.

2,300 study at the Medical University, 1,000 at the Free International University (ULIM) and 250 at the Pedagogical University. 158 foreign students study at the State University.

The foreign students have to pay to study in Moldova: it’s MDL90,000 ($4,500) a year at the Medical University.

The fee is 21,000 lei at the Pedagogical University where the overseas students study foreign languages and psychology. It’s 16,000 a year to study at the State University, double compared to the fee for Moldovans.
