Moldova ranks 11 regarding empowering women in digital age
After a survey realized by the World Economic Quorum in 144 countries, Republic of Moldova ranks 11 on empowering women in digital age. The declaration was made today by Tudor Ulianovschi, the minister of Economy and Infrastructure, within the "empowering women in digital age" ministries reunion evolved in Geneva.
In this context, Ulianovschi who is the member of the International Gender Champions within the United Nations, presented the Republic of Moldova experience in promoting the gender equality and developing the IT.
The chief of the Moldovan diplomacy reiterated the necessity to involve women in all the activity spheres, especially, in politics, economy and highlight their importance in developing ICT. At the same time, Ulianovschi encouraged the ONU member states to apply to the international politics of promoting the gender equality in politics.
At t he ONU reunion, participated ministers and international experts in economy cooperation from Sweden, USA, Germany, Zimbabwe, Myanmar and the representatives of the civil society and the international organizations.
