The Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Estonia, in partnership with the Väike-Maarja Wine Club in the Lääne-Virumaa region, organized a promotion event of Moldovan wine, followed by a tasting of the best wines of the domestic producers.

At the opening of the event, Ambassador Inga Ionesii noted that the Republic of Moldova was designated the World Capital of Wine Tourism 2018, so a series of large events will be organized under the patronage of the World Tourism Organization during the year.

The event was attended by wine experts, wine importers and distributors in Estonia, representatives of commercial networks and specialized shops, as well as those interested in the traditions of the Moldovan wine sector.

The participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the history and traditions of wine making, cultural tours, including the wine road, presented both through promotional materials and a virtual tour with the main tourist attractions of our country presented by to Ambassador Inga Ionesii.
