The border police of the Sculeni custom post traced a Peugeot 406 stolen from the Czech Republic.

At the Sculeni-Iasi border crossing a 22 year old Moldovan citizen presented the acts of a Peugeot 406 car.

At the border checking, after some investigations, the police found out that the car is in the Czech Republic databases and it is searched by the Czech authorities. They found out the car is stolen since December 8, 2007.

The driver of the car said he bought it three years ago from a Moldovan citizen. Also, he said he didn't know the Czech authorities declare the car stolen.

In this case, the border police initiated a criminal case on robbery and the car worth 11 thousand lei will be at the PF premises till the end of the investigation.
