Moldovan commerce and Industry chamber launches first international brokerage event
The Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of Moldova launched today during the "Moldova Business Week 20016" an international brokerage event, Moldpres informs.
According to the chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) Sergiu Harea, the main objective of the brokerage event is strengthening and diversifying economic relations between Moldova and EU. The priority sectors presented in the brokerage event are: agro-food sector, creative industries, information technologies and communications, female entrepreneurship, providing opportunities to internationalize the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) network.
Deputy Economics Minister Vitalie Iurcu said that the Enterprise Europe Network to be the main instrument of the European Commission to support Small and Medium Enterprises in order to increase their competitiveness through services offered by the 600 member organizations of EEN in over 60 countries. "From 2015, the network has become the core component of the EU Programme for the Competitiveness of Small and Medium Enterprises (COSME). Moldova's accession to this program allows representatives of small business in our country to get more opportunities in the European market," said Iurcu.
The deputy minister noted that the Ministry of Economy was open to provide the necessary support to all enterprises that was part of this network and expressed confidence that today's event would help strengthen business partnerships and expanding support for the development of trade relations.
At her turn, Iulia Iabanji, director general of the Organization for Development of Small and Medium Enterprises, said that the EEN opened new opportunities for all business affairs in Moldova. The same source said that the EEN Network's partner organizations had a mission to inform operators about the opportunities offered by European space EEN and urged businesses in Moldova to join this network.
