Moldovan delegation attends Initiative Business Forum in Bucharest

Chiril Gaburici, the Minister of Economy and Infrastructure leads the Republic of Moldova delegation to the Quorum of the Three Seas. The quorum targets to strengthen the economic cooperation in the 3SI zone and takes place between September 17 and 18 in Bucharest, Romania. The main participants will talk about the energy, digital, transport development, but also about the innovations development potential in the region.
Within the Quorum, the Minister of Economy and Infrastructure will present the cooperation potential with the neighboring countries on digital, energy and infrastructure fields. They will talk about the IT parks, fiscal facilities and Industrial parks that offer attractive conditions for the foreign investors.
The Quorum take place within the "Initiative of the Three Seas" Summit that is hosted by Bucharest, this year. It is organized by Presidential Administration of Romania in cooperation with the Commerce and Industry Chamber of Romania and is supported by the Romanian President. The initiative launched by the Presidents of Croatia and Poland, Andrzej Duda and Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic in 2015 and includes 12 member countries, members of the EU: Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Romania and Bulgaria.
Within the today's event, the officials signed a common declarations to create the Trade Chamber Network of 3SI and an Intention Letter that intends to build a common Investment Foundation of the three seas. This foundation will allow the development of the common projects on energetic efficiency, infrastructure and transportation, but also digital technologies.
Also, the members of the delegation will held meetings with the representatives of the affairs environment. Vitalie Tarlev, state secretary at the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure, Rodica Verbeniuc, director of the Investments Agency and Alexandru Baltag, the director of the Businessmen from Moldova Association take part of the delegation.
At the event will also participate Klaus Iohannis, the Romania President, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović the President of Croatia, Andrzej Duda the President of Poland, Alexander Van der Bellen. the President of Austria, but also Corina Crețu, the Commissar for Regional Politics of the European Counci, but also the Presidents of the National Trade Chamber and the EU business environment.
