Moldovan energy agency benefit from new electricity project
The Moldovan Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) hosted the first working session of the Technical Assistance Project on Electricity Market Reform, funded by the European Commission and implemented with the help of the Energy Community within the EU4 Energy Program.
The purpose of the project is to provide technical assistance so as to develop a new concept of Moldovan electricity market.
Subsequently, with the support of the Energy Community provided under the EU4 Energy Program, new Electricity Market Rules will be elaborated, which will regulate the organization mechanisms and electricity market functions, the relations between the market participants, the procedures and methods of recording transactions on the electricity market, etc.
The elaboration and approval of the new rule version will ensure the Electricity Law implementation as well as contribute substantially to the competitive electricity markets in the Republic of Moldova.
